They may have raided the depths of their black cowboy hats for dark musical images and been to Bristol and back for beats. But not even feisty post-traumatic lyrical defiance from Our Toni can stop Curve sounding like a second-hand Garbage nowadays. Yeah, you heard. Curve sound like Garbage. Hang on, I hear you cry. Weren't Garbage once the Curve copyists? Oh, forget it. Just imagine the kettle calling the pot black first and you have some notion of the total absurdity and, indeed, irrelevance of this scenario. Oh, there's a goth-free Kevin Shields mix on the vinyl.
